Tuesday Night Bambino's

My first Tuesday night session with the Bambino’s was amazing! When we first got there we met Mark and he shown us all of the karts the older children use for racing! I was so excited and kept telling my mum and dad I can’t wait to do that. After that Mark asked me if I was ready to go fast tonight? Obviously I said yes! I couldn’t wait to get out there.

Once I was dressed in a suit and had been given a helmet it was time to get on track, I was excited and nervous at the same time and couldn’t wait to get going. Driving round the track is the best feeling EVER and the other bambino’s on track were quick but I was able to go just as fast and get some overtakes done! When it came time to end the session I was upset and just wanted to keep driving all night. When I got off the track and went to where my mum and dad were they told me I’d beaten my best time so far on track, I was so happy and excited it made me want to get back on and do it again but I had to wait a whole week to get back out there. That week seemed to go so slow but then Tuesday arrived and I was back there getting dressed and getting back in the kart! This time there was 2 fast ones on track with me I just couldn’t wait to race

In Bambino kart

When my session had finished I was so excited to learn that I’d kept up with both the bambino’s that were on track with me. I had noticed that the other drivers there had their own race suits, helmets and boots and asked my mum and dad if I could get them as well. Little did I know that my mum and dad had already gotten me them for Christmas! When I opened them on Christmas morning I was so excited and couldn’t wait to wear them, also my mum and dad had gotten there friend to add the number I wanted and some other design details I’d asked for to my helmet!! Any chance I had that day I wore my suit, boots and helmet.

First time wearing my Karting gear

The first time I went to team karting after I had all my race gear I felt like I was a racer and it gave me even more confidence when on track! Soon though Mark noticed I was getting too big for the bambino kart and asked my mum and dad if they would be able to start bringing me on a Monday night so I could move up to the junior karts.
