My name is James AKA JH43, I’m 8 years old from the Manchester. I love motorsport especially single seater racing. My dream is to one day drive in Formula 1, I currently drive a Micro Max Go-Kart with the XKart team.
My Story
What made me want to be a racing driver? Well I’ve always loved watching Motorsport especially open wheel racing, this includes Formula 1, Formula regional, F3, F2 & INDYCAR. For as long as I can remember my Mum, Dad, older brother Logan and me would spend weekends together watching any racing we could. I loved the thrill of seeing who would go faster, seeing if a driver could make that overtake then make it stick. The thing I like most about motorsport is the competition and competitiveness the drivers have. The first time I decided I wanted to be a racing driver and one day drive in formula 1 and be world champion is when my parents took me to Oulton Park to watch GB3 & GB4 when I was 6. I loved every bit of that weekend, the sound, the smell, the speed and the feeling I got watching the cars zoom past me. My favourite racing to watch is obviously F1, my favourite team is Mercedes and my favourite drivers are Lewis Hamilton & Kimi Antonelli, I’ve watched Kimi come up through the ranks while racing in Formula Regional and Formula 2 and I’ve watched Lewis racing from being a baby as all my family support him.
