Hello everyone! It’s been a while since my last blog post, so I wanted to update you on what I’ve been doing over the past couple of months.
First off, I’m thrilled to announce that I officially registered for the 2026 Superone Championship—and I was lucky enough to snag my chosen number, 43. The excitement is real; I can’t wait to start racing! Back in November, I had another test day with the X-Kart team at Hooton Park. I was especially looking forward to this session because driving my kart is always a blast, and I needed more experience testing in wet conditions with my new Vega tyres (which I’ll be racing with in the championship). Up until then, I’d only driven on Mojos and in dry weather. When we tested at Hooton, the weather kept changing and it was pretty chilly, but we made the most of it, learning a lot and having fun throughout the day. I’m still hoping to do additional tests on other tracks where I’ll compete during the championship season, especially under similar conditions, so I can be as ready as possible.
In November me and my family was invited by my driver coach to go and watch him do his 2026 car reveal and test it at Oulton Park for the day. We had a great day getting to watch him do what he does best and meeting his sponsors and family. Jack will be racing in the City Car Cup in 2026 and I’m so excited to cheer him on and hopefully go to one of his race weekends again
Although I didn’t manage any further test days in 2025, I did squeeze in some indoor karting at Team Karting, including getting out on track with the X-Kart team during our Christmas event. It was great to hang out, have fun, and connect with other drivers. We even went bowling together afterwards—I almost scored a strike! On another visit to Team Karting, I hit the track with my driver coach Jack, which is always a good time, and set a new personal best lap of 27.841 seconds. On Boxing Day, my brother and I joined the annual family fun race at TK. We didn’t take home the trophy, but it was a fantastic day and I loved racing against all my friends again.
The holiday season was filled with family celebrations and laughter; I even convinced my nana to try out my sim—so much fun! For Christmas, I received new karting gloves and boots that perfectly match the colours of my soon-to-arrive team race suit, which I’m excited about. My parents also surprised me with Kartsim, something I’d wanted to help with my training for the championship. All in all, the last few months have been amazing, but now it’s time to buckle down and focus on the year ahead
