Starting at Team karting:

So I now have my bambino license and I'm desperate to go driving in a kart again, my mum and dad have found a place I can do that called Team Karting and they’ve booked me in on one of there arrive and drive sessions on a Sunday morning. I’m super excited but nervous at the same time, I don’t know what to expect but I’m going to try my best!

First time at Team Karting

We arrive at the indoor track on a cold Sunday morning and let me tell you it was even colder inside! When I got there I got changed into one of there race suits and went into the briefing room to have a chat about track safety etc. Once I had done that I was told to go and get a helmet put on from one of the staff which I did and then I got in the kart and oh my god it was amazing and I loved every second of being in there, I may of had a couple of spins and hit the walls a few times but that’s part of the learning process. I was on track with another bambino and he was so fast! He kept over taking me and flying around the track super fast. I found out not long after he held the track record for bambino’s. Soon enough my session had finished and it was time to go home (which I didn’t want to do) but thankfully my mum and dad booked me in for more more sessions and I was going every Sunday. Each week my confidence grew and my times were getting quicker and I was able to control the kart but there wasn’t many other drivers there on a Sunday morning while we were there, so the staff at team karting suggested I go on a Tuesday night when they did the bambino lessons and arrive and drive sessions so we did this and now I would be on track with 2 other bambino drivers.
